Royal Crown Cola
My Dad cleaned out my grandmother's house (after she died),
and he brought home an old Royal Crown Cola bottle.
In the bottle top was a stopper with a bunch of holes in it,
this was the way the bottle was manufactured.
My mother knew immediately what it was, but I had no idea,
I thought they had tried to make it a salt shaker or something.
My parents knew it as the bottle that sat on the end of the ironing board,
to 'sprinkle' clothes with because they didn't have steam irons.
Man, I am old.
